Why: This large, clean, and well-maintained dog park is right off the freeway and doesn’t cost you a dime. It is perfectly equipped for your pooch with trash receptacles, agility toys, a separate area for small or shy dogs, free poop bags are provided, and water barrels are scattered around for doggos to drink.

Curt Bowdy State Park

Why: Despite this being a massive park, pups have their own special area at the North Crow reservoir and must be either on a leash (under 10ft) or be well-handled through voice commands. Either way, it’s worth the trip with miles of trails, streams, and fields for exploration. Just don’t forget lots of water for you and your best friends along with poop bags for proper disposal of waste.
